  • Calculated data - OmniFi’s unique API-based data extraction capabilities allow access to any data held in any system.
  • Eliminating errors - no need for copy-pasting data from different sources to create reports; OmniFi runs reports in seconds at the click of a button and ensures that the data is complete.
  • Design and presentation - visualize and work with your data by creating graphs, pivot tables and more.
  • Automate reporting with OmniFi’s scheduling and distribution capabilities - reports can be run and delivered at any given interval to completely automate report creation, allowing ready access to users.

2. Testing

  • OmniFi supports testing of all events throughout the transaction lifecycle, from initial deal entry and processing to accounting and reporting.
  • Regression tests are fully automated, and deviations can be analyzed, corrected and approved using predefined thresholds and expected results.
  • OmniFi automatically generates the documentation required for test case executions, allowing full transparency and auditability of test status.
  • Sample test data can be loaded easily from existing production systems.
  • Different users can be emulated to test that permissions are properly configured in the system.
  • The automated test packages span all parts of any test project, suitable for unit, system integration as well as user acceptance testing.

3. Data management (import)

  • OmniFi supports all types of data entry, e.g. static, transaction and market data.
  • Data entry is handled through OmniFi’s flexible interface; data can be loaded straight from Excel in a familiar way to any end-user.
  • Build bespoke solutions to handle complex configuration tasks, raising data quality and reducing maintenance costs over time.
  • Data is entered through the APIs, ensuring that the input is validated through business logic and any change is logged through the system’s auditing functions.
  • OmniFi supports imports of static and transaction data for updates using APIs, making system configuration maintenance (clients, instruments, rules, etc) much easier than by manual methods.
  • Data migration – use OmniFi’s report and import functionality to extract, transform and load data, then regression test the migrated data exhaustively.
  • Avoid repetitive configuration tasks by automation.

4. Interface

  • Empower the business to drive interface development and maintenance through OmniFi’s easy-to-use data extractionand transformation functionality.
  • Interfaces are created through a graphical interface rather than through thousands of lines of code.
  • Data can be transformed easily with modifiers such as filters, formula editors, lookups and joins, sorting and grouping - all in a simple drag-and-drop interface.
  • Interfaces are run as standalone executables, allowing scheduling to be handled from any system, including the activity manager of the system, reducing maintenance costsover time.
  • OmniFi’s interface builder allows consolidation of all bespoke developed interfaces, enabling support by one platform rather than dozens of disparate interfaces.
  • Master data reconciliation - OmniFi’s interface builder is able to handle complex data requirements for interfacing between systems, thus removing the need for data re-entry and ensuring synchronization.
  • Data warehouse feeder - OmniFi automatically extracts data, then enriches and maps it according to the warehouse’s requirements.
  • OmniFi supports a wide range of data delivery methods: API interfaces link directly to system APIs, allowing importing and updating of transactions, static data and market data; database import interfaces populate data warehouses and data marts; file interfaces export files in structured formats, such as XML, or flat-files, such as CSV, and fixed-width files.
  • All data, such as transactions and static data, but also calculated key figures, can be extracted through use of APIs.

5. Reconciliation

  • OmniFi automates the entire reconciliation process, from data gathering and transformation to comparison and documentation, including detailed audit logs.
  • Non-system specific – reconcile your system with virtually any other system or format
